December 2013 - Painted these for new year (original new year manicure didn't last!) Barry M blue with a marine coloured caviar accent nail.
This is the first time I've used anything like caviar beads on my nails, I hope they last the evening!

December 2013 - Another textured polish (do you see a theme recurring?) This time by barry m, I think it's called tnp8 - white pearl.
The colour reminded me of snow so I have painted a snowy accent nail!
November 2013 - So for my birthday I received a voucher for a nail bar, on a whim I decided to get acrylic nails. Worst. Decision. Ever! Although they looked lovely, my fingers were so sore afterwards; they felt so strange! I had them on a little over a week when i decided i needed to take them off.
Getting them off was a nightmare in itself, it took over 3 hours of dissolving them in acetone and scraping them off with an orange stick before filing the plastic off (process shown in pictures)
Never again!
November 2013 - I received several new nail polishes for my birthday, couldn't make my mind up on how to paint them!
October 2013 - I had higher hopes for this polish, it took 4 coats to get it like this; but I was too impatient to let all the coats dry to it smudged!
October 2013 - Having a love affair with textured polish <3 this is rimmel space dust. It's not actually black, it has blue and green flecks but it is SO hard to photograph!
September 2013 - So I cut my nails right back, shortest they've ever been! I much prefer them like this, easier to handle. I painted them with frosted sand (again!), this time in silver.
September 2013 - So whilst under the influence of wine, I painted my nails like so! Not half bad for it being freehand I guess.
September 2013 - Again with the frosted sand. This time using the gold as an accent nail with nude polish. I like it, I think it's classy!
September 2013 - Frosted sand look polish in frosted silver and frosted gold. Absolutely adore them! Similar to liquid sand.
August 2013 - messing around with various nail polishes, it didn't last long and I took it off the next day!
After not updating this for around 4 months I feel incredibly lazy, I'll be uploading all of my missed nail art :)
August 2013 - Rainbow nails with a black and white graffiti effect top coat.
I absolutely love how this has turned out!
This design was inspired by a design I saw on reddit :)
August 2013 - A little owl on my nails :)
Navy base coat, grey spots, brown owl and matte top coat. Ridiculously cute!
July 2013 - Ladybird inspired nails
My sister in law is going to a hen party tonight where they are dressing up as ladybirds. I think this looks really cute :)
July 2013 - Purple with white dots
Mum wanted me to paint her nails in a similar way to my previous design. Looks good!
It's been a proper nail day today!
July 2013- So after seeing people in America go nuts over 'black tie optional' nail varnish I decided I needed to find something similar in the UK!
Maybelline sell a version, colour show; but it's been sold out every time I've looked for it!
This picture is of boots own make. 'Seventeen - graffiti effect nails'. Isn't it brilliant?!
I think I'm in love.
July 2013 - well I chipped my last polish at work. I was going to give the nails a rest for a while but I just couldn't! So I've done a simple French manicure instead.
July 2013 - Purple base with pink triangles. The purple polish was a but gloopy, but you get the idea!
June 2013 - Painted tribal accent designs over my nude polish. First attempt at tribal :)
I bought a nail art set from Primark yesterday and used it to make the tribal design.
The set includes both black and white polishes with a tiny brush to paint stripes. You can also use them as pens by turning them upside down! Each polish comes with it's own set of gems to add some sparkle; all for £2!
I'm so pleased with this design
June 2013 - Nude base for my new nails. I had to take a photo because I absolutely adore this colour!
Collection 2000 - Stormy Grey
I've never used a colour like this before, but it'll not be the last time I use it!
June 2013 - Gel Pro nail varnish in plum (from asda!) with gold striping tape from ebay. I love how it has turned out!
The tape was a little tricky to place, but it isn't bad for a first attempt
June 2013 - My dotting tool arrived today. So naturally I had to make rainbow dot nails!
They aren't perfect by a long shot, but practice makes perfect!
June 2013 - I adore glitter polish, but getting it off your nails is a nightmare! You scrub and scrub for ages, then you end up with cotton stuck to bits of glitter that just won't move.
I followed an online tutorial which made things a hundred times easier!
Soak the cotton balls in nail varnish remover, wrap the cotton balls to your nails with tin foil, leave for about 5 minutes and you're done!
May 2013 - Playing frisbee chipped my polish. On the bright side, I've repainted them!
First attempt at using cling film (saran wrap) in a design, it's not perfect but I love it.
Light pink for the base, hot pink for the top pattern
